Google Snatch 2 First Impressions
I find myself saying this more than ever, but even as I hit the sales page I see nothing inspiring. I guess the copy wears thin after you've read enough of these cheesy, over hyped sales pitches right?
In fact, I would say that Google Snatch 2 has one of the most
loud and hypey sales pages I've seen in many months...which doesn't exactly inspire confidence in me.
Also, the sea of words kinda puts me off wanting to read the damn sales page at all. So, I float through and hit some testimonials...which is where I really start to get suspicious. Why? Because the same people are giving testimonials for Google Snatch 2 as another product I just reviewed called Affiliate Payload (which
incidentally is definitely worth your time and money).
But putting that aside, I moved on to the obligatory ClickBank screenshots showing proof of earnings, and let me tell you these things are meaningless. I mean, do you know how easy it is to create one of those "proof of earnings" screen shots in Photoshop?
As I read into the actual offer more, it appears that Google Snatch is seemingly focused on ways to get lots of free traffic to your websites. I'm always a fan of such topics, so I am inspired enough to read on. My only fear is my thought that "could there be anything left to talk about when it comes to free traffic?".
There's a ton of free info available online for getting free traffic to your websites, so either this book is aimed at newbies who want to save time and hassle of doing their own research, or there are lots of exciting new methods that not many people know about.
Of course, there seems to be more elements than just the core guide (such as mind maps etc)...so shortly, I will be able to tell to see if those extra elements will make this product a worthy purchase.
What I did warm to on the sales page was the promise of free traffic (of course!), the mind maps (which are well known to absorb lots of info and improve productivity) and the aspects where he talks about leveraging off other people's hard work to get serious traffic and sales.

The Google Snatch 2 Manual
The Google
Snatch 2 Manual was written by Mo Latif, who I've never heard of before. He certainly likes to talk about how popular he is on his sales page, but the point he is trying to make is that a successful product can make you popular and even famous in certain circles.
Whether he's well known or not, all I care about is if all this material is any good, and will it actually work for you?
Advanced Traffic Experts Stay Away
Google Snatch 2 is no doubt a meaty guide. In fact, there's probably some
aspects that you'll never focus on because you're too busy working on the other stuff.
My Immediate thought was, "If an experienced traffic guru bought this, they would be a little
disappointed to say the least".
The reason I say that is because although the guide is clearly comprehensive, there is no way that it offers anything groundbreaking in terms of free traffic generation methods.
...but that depends on you
You see, I don't know what level you're at with your internet marketing business. You could be a total beginner or an age old veteran! So ultimately, whether you extract value from Google Snatch 2 all depends on how much you've already learned about free traffic generation before.
No Stone Unturned
With that in mind, what you really should know is that overall, Google Snatch 2 is a beast of a guide, that covers every aspect of free traffic generation that you need to know.
Google Snatch 2 covers all of these
major traffic generation areas:
SEO Offsite and Onsite
Directory submissions,
Landing page conversions,
Blogging,
RSS marketing,
Social bookmarking,
Video marketing,
Audio marketing,
Groups,
Classified ads,
Yahoo answers
...and numerous Web 2.0 social websites.
For the absolute new starter to internet marketing, that list alone might be enough to put you off, and for the more experienced marketer, you might think you've got every base covered already by looking at that list.
Mind Maps and Blueprints change these misconceptions
Sure, as a highly experienced internet marketer, you may know
a lot of what's inside this guide already but the introduction of mind maps certainly helps to clarify the entire free traffic generation process.
Google Snatch Mind Maps and Blueprints
The mind maps allow you to plot the entire flow of free traffic from birds eye view. This is something I always wanted to have on my wall but could never figure out how to map out everything that was going on in my daily traffic generating plans.
After a while, I used to drop one process because I got lost or couldn't see the benefit continuing with it.
As a newbie, the accompanying mind maps and blueprints allow you to consume the masses of information in a much more realistic fashion.
I truly think that the blueprints and mind maps are a saving grace for a product that would have been too much information overload for the newbie and nothing
tangible and actionable for the more experienced marketer.
If you're a total newbie to internet marketing, Google Snatch 2 will open a world of traffic generation methods that you never thought possible. If however, you have been studying and learning all of the free traffic generation methods for a considerable amount of time, then your benefits will come more in the form of organizing the traffic tasks and traffic flow (using these mind maps and blueprints) without getting your head tied in knots.
Google Snatch 2 Guru Success Formula
The guru success formula was a little
disappointing, as I was expecting more written material. However, the success formula is actually another separate mind map that outlines that exact process of free traffic generation that can
yield the best results.
This is only an addition to the main product, but I felt it didn't need to be and was possibly added
separately to enhance the perceived value of the product.
Either way, a new starter can take this very simple blueprint formula (that is
laid out in a map style diagram) and mould their entire early days of internet marketing around this system to cut straight to the big traffic and easier sales.
If you've already got a working system in place that you can expand upon, then this element of the course will hold little value to you, especially if you've got plenty of internet marketing experience.
Google Snatch 2 FREE Targeted Traffic Report
This additional report was quite
useful actually. This is very concise and contains a real, proven approach to finding places where targeted traffic is just waiting for you and your offers! This system is actually pretty fool proof and has been
previously documented by some well known gurus in recent months.
Again, to the more
experienced internet marketer, this may not be particularly groundbreaking information. However, to someone new to the game, or struggling to find the right traffic without having to pay for it, then this short little add on report can really help boost you in the right direction with little extra work involved.
I particularly liked the part about using certain data research sites to fully understand your market and how to find more people in more places. I haven't personally thought about this approach before and will certainly adopt this market research aspect into my current marketing approach online.
Here's What I Didn't Like About Google Snatch 2...
The first thing that struck me about the manual itself was the first chapter. There seems to be a lot of unnecessary babble about picking the right domain name. Sure, I see his point about choosing a name that people will hopefully remember, but in all honesty, that doesn't always matter and you should not get caught up in that mindset for too long...or you might end up never buying a domain name at all!
Painfully slow and basic start
Unless you're a total newbie (or someone that hasn't really grasped the main concepts of internet marketing yet) then I would like to warn you that at the beginning of the guide, you might feel like you're being sent back to beyond the basics. For example, some of the early paragraphs in the first section actually speak to you as if you've never heard of the internet before, let alone making money on it!
Nothing new unless you're new
As I progressed through the guide, into the next section which talks about SEO (search engine optimisation) I still found that although the information is rock solid, there is nothing on offer for the well versed marketer.
If you've struggled to grasp the foundations of SEO, such as title tags,
back links, keywords etc, then this will be very well suited for you.
What I did like was that it talks about creating content for the search engines on a much more realistic and sensible level than I have read before. It was refreshing to see somebody talk about creating pages of content with the right, human approach...not just someone trying to calculate their way to the top of the search engines.
Skims a little too often
As I made my way through the guide, I couldn't help but feel that some sections were a little thin on the ground. Certainly not useless, but I feel that certain parts were in need of some examples or further explanation. This was not the case for all the sections, with the real meaty stuff still holding lots of content and examples. I just wish the consistency was there for the smaller, more brief tips.
Not suited for the lazy
I feel bad to criticize a guide that requires you to actually do some work, but I guess it could be deemed as a negative point by some people who want an easy ticket to free traffic and essentially, free money.
Look, whatever you do online that generates life long free money is worth working for. To be honest, there is no other way. However, it's important to realize that Google Snatch 2 is jam packed full of free traffic generation methods that will require some real work.
You're not going to get a push button cash machine here, but what you are getting is a real guide full of real traffic generation methods. Sure, the sales page is hypey, but the content inside the guide is genuine and certainly well proven.
...Ultimately, this stuff works...
Of course, there's nothing to say that once you're earning a nice income using the system that you can't reinvest that profit back into outworkers and freelancers to get the job done for you, right? After all, that's exactly what the big players do. All you need to do is provide the blueprints taken directly from this course and you can get people working exactly how they should, making full use of your money!
Here's What I Did Like About Google Snatch 2...
Clearly, this course is designed for new starters or anyone struggling to get even he
smallest amount of traffic to their sites (i.e. less than 250 people per day).
But even as an experienced marketer myself, I can clearly see where the real value lies in this course, even if I knew some of the material already...
Complete A-Z removes guesswork
I think one of the most important aspects of getting things done (and properly) is by following a step by step guide. Although you can pick out parts of this guide and make them work for your existing business, it is also designed in such a way to allow you to start literally right at the beginning and work your way through step by step.
If you're a newbie, this format of learning will truly get you to the financial level you're
aspiring to. But as I previously mentioned, be prepared to work for it.
Wordpress simplified
If you've ever messed around with Wordpress or been told how important it is for generating lots of free traffic, but stalled
every time you've tried to set it up and make it pull this traffic for yourself, then Google Snatch 2 kindly removes the pain of Wordpress. I particularly
enjoyed this part of the guide as I was continually banging my head against the wall with Wordpress...especially when it came to using it to generate traffic (and don't even get me started on the technical details!).
Nice additional advice on
converting visitors into buyers
As a traffic guide, I wasn't expecting any information on actually getting your visitors to buy something from you. I found this a nice touch as Google Snatch 2 does a great job of explaining how to add suitable amounts of call to action text, where to add it, what to say etc, in order to get the visitor to click on the money links. I think this is as equally important as actually getting the traffic in the first place, so I salute Google Snatch 2 for this added info.
Easy to read , digest and learn
Although I did mention that Google Snatch 2 was a hefty guide, there has clearly been
a lot of effort put into the delivery of the information.
I think without the easy to read layout, the blueprints and the mind maps, this product would be too overwhelming and stuffy for most people.
Luckily, they have managed to deliver the goods in
such a way that you can either quick reference them with the blueprints (which are a great idea) or you can easily skim through the main guide itself and find the exact traffic generating strategy that you're looking for.
Nice tips list adds even easier quick reference
In most of the sections, there is a lot of information that is generously poured out. By the time you've reached the end, you've absorbed a lot of free traffic generating techniques. What made this guide even easier to digest was the summary at the end of each major section which basically lists all of the key tips you need to take and use for that
particular method.
Again, this careful attention to the delivery and readability of the guide makes it easy to absorb and use the masses of info contained within.
Web 2.0 demystified
Before I picked up this guide, the world of Web 2.0 marketing was a big, blurry barrier. I just could not get my head around how to market on all of these Web 2.0 style sites, where the focus is on social interactivity.
Google Snatch made the whole process of modern marketing via Web 2.0 sites a real breeze. Not only are the concepts more clear, but there is real actionable advice that I can use to pick out masses of traffic from these places.
Until now, I thought Web 2.0 marketing was a myth or fad, but Google Snatch 2 has opened my eyes to how easy all of this social marketing can be when you have a simple system. I think the mind maps and blueprints really helped here, as otherwise it can get a little crazy without a map and birds eye view of what you are aiming for here.
Lots of useful free resources
Each section describes a technique and series of tasks, but obviously they require you to actually go out and deploy these newly learned techniques on various
websites. Instead of just letting you go out there and spend hours trying to find the right websites to actually use your "secret weapons" on, you are given a nice, very handy list of the exact sites the top marketers use to execute these very same techniques. These resource lists are pretty extensive and will save you a lot of time trying to build up a set of bookmarks of sites to visit yourself.
The audio marketing section is an eye opener
One section really was totally brand new to me and that was the audio marketing section. I've heard of podcasts before, but this section opened my eyes to a whole new world of traffic that is largely overlooked by so many marketers.
The best part is, there are actual techniques described along with the exact sites you need to use these techniques on in order to pull in a huge flood of literally untapped, targeted traffic. Very cool.
Summary Of Google Snatch 2
As you can see, Google Snatch 2 is certainly not perfect. However, what you must remember is that this is entirely dependant on your current level of experience.
As I said at the start of this review, Google Snatch 2 still holds value for experienced marketers through it's clever use of mindmaps and blueprints. So if you need to establish a rock solid, unwavering system of driving a ton of traffic to your site without falling off the track, then yes, even experienced marketers can benefit from the
overall Google Snatch system.
Also, there are lots of small
tidbits of traffic generation that I picked up as an experienced marketer that I didn't know existed before. What you have to remember is that even the smallest tweak to your current internet marketing techniques and systems can make a huge difference...and that's the honest to goodness truth.
Ultimately, I think that newbies to internet marketing are going to love Google Snatch. After all, traffic is one of the hardest things to get to any website, even as you get better as a marketer the task of generating traffic remains as difficult as the day you started.
Therefore, with the concise blueprints and mindmaps, along with the easy to digest material I believe that Google Snatch 2 is one of the most effective ways to develop a tidal wave of traffic over time...and will be something that once learned will be a very wealth bearing investment.
Ultimately, if you can get traffic you will never go hungry. Along with the conversion tactics also thrown into this guide, Google Snatch 2 provides even the most pithy of daily traffic figures to really soar to new levels.
All I would advise is that you should be prepared to
put the suggested work in in order to see results...because although the information is solid and proven when it comes to traffic generation, it means nothing if you don't actually set the wheels in motion (even if you have to pay someone
else to do it).
Google Snatch: Product Highlights
Who's It Right For?
Ultimately, I feel that beginners to internet marketing (or certainly beginners to getting traffic to their websites) would benefit the most from Google Snatch 2. However, even more advanced marketers will find various sections eye openers and along with the blueprints and mindmaps, this product certainly has the potential to help any internet marketer to get more free targeted traffic to their websites, providing they are willing to apply the
knowledge.
Bad Points
I feel that some parts could use more examples and go into a little more detail. Most parts of the guide have plenty of detail and examples (and screenshots) to make things clear, but this could be more consistent overall. The opening section of the guide seems a little too basic even for the beginner marketer, but soon picks up and starts getting juicy.
Good Points
I really like the way all of the
in-depth info is compacted and summarized at the end of each section and again in the master blueprints. I believe this will help anyone who finds that getting free traffic is too vast and ties their head in knots to finally grasp a solid, proven approach to getting a serious amount of free traffic for years to come.
The sheer depth of free traffic information, from picking a suitable domain name right through to podcasting makes this product a worthwhile investment for the traffic starved internet marketer of today.
